Carp Lake Township, Emmet County, Michigan

Carp Lake Township is a civil township of Emmet County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 807 at the 2000 census.
==Communities==
Carp Lake is an unincorporated community in the township on the northwest shore of Lake Paradise at . U.S. Highway 31 passes through the community, with Interstate 75 to the north and Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Bridge four miles further north. It was founded by Octave Terrian and later became a station on the Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad in 1880.〔Walter Romig, ''Michigan Place Names'', p. 99〕
